Terms of Use

1. Introduction
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Any Pantry (“the App”), operated by Kensei Craft (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App.
2. The App
Any Pantry helps you organise pantry items and storage locations, maintain shopping lists, track bought items and explore recipes. Features may change over time. You are responsible for keeping item quantities and other information accurate.
3. Licence and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable App Store usage rules. Do not use the App unlawfully, interfere with its operation, infringe other people’s rights or attempt to bypass access restrictions. Reverse engineering is prohibited except where applicable law permits it.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of information and content you add to the App. You must have the right to use that content. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide and maintain the features you use. Keep a separate copy of information you need; we do not guarantee that data can always be recovered.
5. Recipes and food safety
Recipes and meal suggestions are for general information. Check ingredients, allergens, dietary suitability, expiry dates and food condition yourself. Pantry quantities and stock indicators do not establish whether food is safe to eat. Follow safe food handling and cooking practices. The App does not provide medical or nutritional advice or guarantee that a recipe is suitable for your individual needs.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Read it alongside these Terms. These Terms do not grant permission to use other people’s personal information without a lawful basis.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
If paid features or subscriptions are offered, the price, duration and any trial conditions are shown before purchase. App Store purchases are handled by Apple under the applicable Apple Media Services Terms. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until cancelled; manage or cancel them through your Apple account’s subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are subject to Apple’s policies and any rights required by applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
The App’s software, branding and design belong to Kensei Craft or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those rights to you. Third-party content and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy or completeness of suggestions and other content. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kensei Craft is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the App. Our total liability for claims relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App during the preceding 12 months, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Ending use
You may stop using the App at any time. We may restrict or end access if you materially breach these Terms or if required by law. Any subscription cancellation must be handled separately through your Apple account.
12. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, subject to mandatory protections applicable in your country of residence. Contact us first to discuss a concern. Nothing in these Terms removes your right to pursue a claim in a competent court or use a dispute resolution process available under applicable law.
13. Changes and severability
We may update these Terms and will publish the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
